Description

The role-holder is responsible for managing and maintaining our YouTube channel/s and publishing engaging content and driving audience growth and engagement.

- Designing and executing advertising campaigns to promote music artists

- Managing music marketing budgets

- Investigating unique marketing opportunities for boosting each artist's individual brand

- Analyzing music market conditions and the effectiveness of marketing plans on a regular basis and working with other departments and outside partners to maximize the growth of artists' audiences and fan bases.

- Coordinating promotional activities on music channels, acquired film music and music videos produced and presented by the brand.

- Lining up interviews, specials, and digital content shoot with music channels for content, handling interview shoots on ground with artists.

- Identify creative campaigns and be the lead marketing person for a roster of artists and their music.

- coordinate publicity and promotion to build artist careers and manage the demand for their music. work with artists to create a 'brand' around their vision, which reaches out to audiences and creates a need for their music - understanding marketing techniques, products, and media to make the best use of music marketing tools and strategies available.

- Building & sustaining partnerships with streaming platforms, radio & television channels

- Lead communication and strategy with television, radio & streaming partners for visibility of products including airplay rotations, playlist seeding, social media live streams, interview pitches and more.

- Responsible for creating in collaboration with the reporting manager a 360-Sales strategy for the Music Label.

- Responsible to collectively achieve the Business targets as approved by the Management

- Responsible to upscale the New Music Label Brand and market penetration

- Responsible to oversee the Competitor analysis

- Responsible to Acquire Good Content on behalf of the Label

- Assisting in the implementation of the Marketing and Branding activities on a as and when basis.

- Responsible for Title registrations of New Talents appointed

- Responsible for the overall Due Diligence of the New Talents

- Collaborate with the Legal Team on new Business Acquisitions

- Responsible for catalogue growth in the non-film music space

- Management of the product life-cycle within the eco-system, liaising with multiple internal teams to ensure a seamless process

- Responsible for identifying the artist/product, negotiation, paperwork/contract, audio/video QCs, art-work, invoicing leading up to the product release

- managing budgets, schedules, creating smart links, email campaigns and generally working within a marketing team.

- Oversee the entire release campaign. From setting up the pre-save campaign and putting together the perfect music PR & radio teams right the way through to marketing the release on release day and beyond.

- Once a campaign is underway you must also use music analytics tools and analyze sales/streaming data to see what is working and where the campaign needs to be improved.

- Liaise with Internal and external stakeholders

- Network with Singers/ Artists/New Upcoming Talents in the Music Industry

- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with labels, artists, and their management teams

JOB SPECIFICATION:

- To be successful in this role the resource must be a YouTube enthusiast, preferable with a broadcaster.

Desired Education and Experience:

1. Have a Post Graduation/ Graduation preferably in Mass Communication/Media

3. 4 - 8 years of work experience in core Music Label Sales/ Marketing/ Content Acquisition.

4. Knowledge of the best music marketing practices and current trends

Essential job specific Technical Competencies & Skills:

2. Exposure to various geners of music and languages.

3. Knowledge of latest trends and happenings in Music Industry in India and Globally

4. Team Management and Collaboration

5. Consumer orientation with an understanding of audience dynamics.

6. Excellent communication skills - Able to look at the big picture while also managing the details.
