Job Description
As a Head of Controlling Function, incumbent will be responsible for:
• Business controlling for the business units, products classes within the company, including the manufactured parts/products in India and traded parts/products procured from other worldwide plants.
• Leading team of business partners, which includes professionally qualified CAs/ICWAs
• Executing planning cycles (business plan or subsequent revised current forecasts) for all Key business KPIs, cost centers and cost elements. To deploy planned numbers and control the actuals in line with plan.
• Manufacturing plant Product costing, controlling profitability product-wise, customer-wise.
• Accounts receivables function and driving for benchmark days outstanding (DSO) and overdue %
• Cash, bank and treasury operations, managing working capital and funds planning
• Co-ordination with central tax depts for managing compliance for Taxation (direct & indirect), filing for on-time returns, tax audits and tax assessments
• General insurance topics and accounting responsibilities for employee gratuity trusts and superannuation trusts
Qualifications
• Bachelors’ degree in Commerce (B’Com) and Chartered Accountant with 10 to 15 years post qualification relevant experience
• Self-driven and motivator
• Experience of handling teams/groups and need to be team player
• Working in SAP environment and need to be SAP power user
• Excellent MS office skills is pre-requisite
• Excellent skills in Communication & presentations and solution oriented approach
• Need to be adaptive to changing business cycles and ability to work with flexible requirements
