Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Analytics & BI Developer in our Group IT team in Mumbai-Airoli. You will be responsible to bring data together and provide insights on how we can improve our Technology Function. Turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Conduct full lifecycle analysis to include requirements activities and design.
Responsibilities
Develop analysis and reporting capabilities.
Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases.
Crafting and executing queries upon request for data.
envelop, implement, and document databases, data collection systems, data sets, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
On-time delivery (with pre-agreed quality parameters) of self-service analytics and BI portals.
Working with complex data relationships, translate business needs to technical specifications
Maintain and support data analytics and BI platforms i.e. End to End Environment Management of Alteryx, Tableau (hosted on AWS) etc.
Skills & Experience
8+ Years in an IT environment with at least 5+ years of working experience in delivering Analytics and BI projects
Experience in Tableau & Alteryx is a MUST
Proven experience as an Analytics & BI Developer.
Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining.
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), online transactional processing (OLTP).
Programming (XML/Java script/Python/R etc.) and ETL/ELT frameworks.
Solid experience in data analysis, self-service reporting, predictive analytics, BI technologies by making use of advanced analytical software such as Tableau/Qlik, Alteryx/SSIS or similar.
Deliver industry best practices, standards etc. fit-for-purpose for:
Alteryx and/or Tableau
Microsoft SQL, SQL Server, stored procedures
Building self-service predictive analytics and complex data visualizations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science, Maths, Statistics, Data Management, or a related field.
