Overview India CCB - Credit Portfolio Analyst/ Risk Analyst/ Credit Underwriter - Emerging Corporate/Mid Corporate Job Req ID 2364XXXXXX Location(s) Mumbai, India; Gurgaon, India; Bengaluru, India; Pune, India; Secunderabad, India Job Category Risk Management The Credit Portfolio Manager is an intermediate management-level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees to monitor the Citi portfolio and identify credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team.The overall objective of this role is to coordinate management of Citi's portfolio exposure to client and counterparties globally. Responsibilities: • Makes decisions in accordance with credit department policies. • Financial due diligence and in-depth understanding of various business risks • Employs decisioning for multi-merchant locations to meet customer credit requirements. • Performs financial analysis and makes recommendations on new and existing credits and exposures. • Assesses credit worthiness by analyzing various commercial credit vehicles including financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash Flow), commercial credit bureau reports, regulatory Filings, bond ratings, grants, tax returns, letters of credit, and budgetary information. • Prepares a Commercial Credit Application of applicants requesting large lines of credit by analyzing the customer, interpreting the request, identifying the risk factors, performing a risk assessment, and providing a summary and recommendation. • Mentor junior team members • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Education: • Master's degree or Professional qualification in Finance (CA / MBA preferred) • Additional qualification like FRM or CFA would be plus
