Summary of Role:
Reporting to GF India Site Lead, this primary responsibility of this role is to perform Compliance & Risk Management, ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated and adequate internal controls and insurance for financial health and risk management of the company are in place.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
Implementing and managing GF’s group compliance policies and procedures & responsible for site compliance to approved processes.
Representation of the company in conjunction with regulatory and government affairs and relevant external bodies.
Be a vocal advocate for GF brand and experience.
Act as a legal representative for GF in India.
SPOC for Tax, labour, FEMA, STPI and other government departments
Oversee filings as per compliance calendar
SPOC for all banking matters- Inwards, signatory updation, approval of export bills
Gratuity Trust Bank Account administration
Work with GF India Board of Directors on board administration and other corporate secretarial matters and compliance
Solid experience in Site Administration, Handling local vendors, budgetary spend for site
Other Responsibilities:
Oversee proper functioning of POSH/IC and Ethics & Compliance teams.
Background in real-estate related activities to oversee site facilities / real-estate management.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years’ experience in corporate secretarial / legal / financial role
Fluent in Business English
Sound knowledge of financial aspects related to site administration
Proven experience in working with multi-functional teams to enable smooth site operations.
Competencies
Able to effectively collaborate with employees at all professional levels performs as a supporter for change management initiatives
Ability to read, comprehend and write English, ability to communicate in local language will be an added advantage , though not mandatory.
Ability to effectively participate & drive all mandatory Org wide compliance training courses
Comfort working remotely with limited supervisory interaction
Understanding the requirement pattern of site administration, purchase and meeting arrangements, etc
Ability to collect data and apply analytical tools (as appropriate), to identify patterns, trends, problem areas and come up with recommendations for solution
Cost consciousness-Awareness of the costs concerned with the area of operation and implications of costs, striving to reduce cost/wastage
Understanding requirements, identifying gaps, setting priorities, scheduling activities accordingly to fulfill requirements
Effective Follow up & attention to detail
