As an associate in equity sales, you will be responsible for stockbroking - developing and maintaining key institutional investor client relationships, playing a central role in distributing jp morgan`s india and global equity productYou will be part of the india equity sales team and working with the sales and broader equities teamYou will ideally have an understanding of the equities product, and be able to market the product effectively among a broad range of clients (such as asset managers, insurance accounts, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, mutual funds, hedge funds etc.) the ideal candidate would be able to market the research product and generate fundamental ideas and share market insightsExisting client relationship / experience in dealing with equities clients would be a plusProficiency in writing and speaking on the markets / stocks is an essential.
