Job Title :- India HR & Talent Management Data Analyst

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This role is accountable for People & Talent data quality in India. The role is critical in facilitating the understanding of data analytics through past trends, impact on the current period as well as anticipating future business scenarios. The incumbent is also instrumental in supporting the People Management Cycle and Talent Management data analytics besides working with stakeholders on various HR Projects & Initiatives, Support Employer Branding initiatives and any other tasks which require data management and analytics.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

People Analytics
• Design and establish meaningful metrics and dashboards to report on monthly basis, in order to monitor important people metrics and the progress for Alstom People Strategy KPI
• Develop a good level of understanding of the business challenges, organization structure & talent issues to identify relevant analytics needs.
• Generate People Analytics based on multiple internal and external data sources and convert into compelling visual stories
• Prepare presentations and supporting materials for HR Director India and leadership team to propose recommendations and influence change related to People topics
• Prepare and work on people analytics projects, including but not limited to: Alstom Yearly People Review Meeting, Yearly Employee Engagement Survey, Competency Mapping, and regular Analytics for HR KPIs
• Serve as an internal expert in HR Community to coach HR colleagues to use and interpretate people data and metrics; encourage the adaption of data mindset when making decision; provide training for People Analytics self-service tools (ex. QlikSense)
• Work with HR Process & Tool to promote data governance and stewardship to improve overall data quality on people topics
• Develop and continuously improve the People analytics strategy and approach reflecting the latest trend in analytics best practices.
• Support Retention interventions by working and sharing the analysis of Quarterly Cold attrition survey results. (Provided by Acengage)
• Proactively anticipate requirement for planned and adhoc clean-up of data and repositories
• Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datapoints.

Talent Management
• Support and coordinate initiatives and activities related to Talent Management, providing the relevant coordination within HR community
• Working closely with India Talent Management Head on Talent Management related projects and initiatives
• Support in organizing Regional TM initiatives and events (example yearly Regional Leadership program)
• Provide accurate HR reports and data analysis as required.
• Submit timely and accurate HR TM and Talent Pool data.
• Provide support to HRBP to ensure TM data accuracy
• Provide HR data analysis to be presented to management team on regular basis, in order to influence decisions based on output of data analysis, follow up of the action plan
• Drive PMC processes completion & PMC Survey by regular monitoring and sharing of data
• Analysis and implementation of EES results and action plans
• Prepare periodical and multi-dimensional data interpretations on Attrition, New Hires, Diversity, Internal Mobility, International Mobility, Headcount, People Performance Management Cycle, Attrition, Post Separation, etc
• Consolidate and update various monthly/quarterly presentation decks and data, as required by the management.
• Support HR team engagement activities by collaborating with cross-functional departments.

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:
• Bachelor s degree and/or advanced degree in Data Analytics is preferred

Desirable:

MBA (preferably) with specialization in HR

Experience

Mandatory:
• 8 - 10 years of hands-on experience in HR or People related functions
• At least 2 years of experience in People Analytics domain, having solid experience hands on doing analytics from scratch
• Aptitude and enthusiasm to work with data in order to present metrics, results, progress updates and compliance information
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Desirable:

• Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage simultaneous projects, tasks and meet deadlines
• Open mindset, curious, willingness to learn
