About The Role
Uber’s Payment Operations team is responsible for ensuring faster, reliable payments to our earners across all the cities we operate in. Our goal is to make Uber a rewarding experience to our earners through frictionless payments and making them grow on our platform.
Our team is responsible for the outgoing payments by building new processes and payments partnerships. We are looking for an operations executive who would play a crucial role in delivery and maintenance of the payments processes. This is a contractual position and based out of Hyderabad, India.
What you’ll do
Planning: Work with the team members to schedule and manage the payments events - maintenance, holidays, partner reviews, internal reviews, outages reporting, training etc.
Project support: Work with the team members to publish timelines, agreed deliverables and milestones.
Execution tracking: Play a key role in the maintenance and reporting of projects and deliverables on an ongoing basis by working with the internal stakeholders. Help with the tracking of processor deliverables.
Data analysis & reporting: Create and deliver on metrics reporting in the agreed format while gathering the insights from the internal and external stakeholders.
Payments support: Work on incoming support requests, triage, assign, track and publish reports within the team.
Documentation: Take ownership for creating and maintaining SOPs and other resources crucial for the payment operations.
On Call: Be available on PagerDuty to triage the alerts and monitor the various KPIs
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience in cross functional projects, preferably in payments, fintech or ecommerce industries
Experience in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
Comfortable working with data analysis and reporting, process documentation, high impact presentations
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong SQL and analytical skills
Bachelors degree or above
Willingness to work in Amsterdam timings (1 PM - 10 PM IST)
