Experience in cooking in high-volume outlets > Extensive knowledge of food safety and health regulations. > Organizing and monitoring controls of food quality, presentation, and service. > Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are always clean and tidy. > Take care of o shift > Inventory as well indenting for kitchen
• Responsible for smooth operations of different sections of food production.
• Prepares and delegates the production of necessary food items in accordance with standards in a timely and efficient fashion.
• Participates in training of culinary skills with junior staff.
• Keeps workstations clean and organized including fridges/freezers, countertops
• Ensures station opening and closing procedures are carried out.
• Ensures proper rotation, labeling, and storing of food in order to reduce food wastage.
• Operates all kitchen equipment with safety in mind.
