Masala factory is food truck serving Indian cuisine located in newylnn, auckland.we are looking for up to 1 cook to work in our food truck and are welcoming applications.
This a full time permanent position. Weekly hours of work may be vary but we guarantee at least 30 hours of 11am to 9pm, the rate of pay offered is $25 to $30 per hour depending on experience
As an Indian cook, you will carry out the the following tasks
️ preparation of all types of authentic Indian dishes with particular emphasis and skill in tandoori and curry cooking
️ Presentation of meals in attractive manner.
️Operate a traditional tandoori oven
️Train other staff in tandoori oven technique. and cooking procedures
️ Ensure food is stored and equipment is maintained in hygiene condition
️ Conduct regular stock. Stock sale takes and arrange ordering of Supplies
️To work unsupervised.
You will need:
️ANZQF diploma or three years of relevant work. experience
️Fulloperationalknowledge of all traditional northern Indian recipes standard, portion sizes and presentation style of dishes
️Good communication and Organisational skills
️The ability to work. additional hours and. pressure
️ Good personal hygiene
️The ability to work. lawfully in New Zealand
