Job Description
What you'll do :
- Design : This is a hands-on leadership role. As the design lead, we expect you to take the lead design role on key projects as well as delegating and managing the entire design team.
- Mentor : Provide guidance and support for a team of 5-6+ designers. Direct and inspire teams to create consistent and cohesive design work across a diverse range of clients.
- Partner with Clients : You'll lead and earn the trust of clients at all levels by displaying credibility in your professional capacity, an unbiased perspective and unique take on their business challenges, a passion for their brand and their customers, and an uncompromising commitment to their success.
- Innovate : Demonstrate fearlessness in the face of the unknown and a desire to bring order to the world through design inquiry. While working on several projects, you'll also conceptualize and collaborate with internal teams on marketing ideas and experiences.
- Collaborate : Your expertise in design will help lead clients, team members and peers to think about ways that solve business challenges while meeting brand and customer needs. You'll work closely with our in-house team, as well as an external group of Strategists, Project Managers, and Consultants.
- Create : We take great pride in producing and delivering work that goes beyond the brief. You will report to our Creative Director and be regularly brought into the concept for a wide range of projects from brand campaigns to emerging brand experiences.
- Strategize : Design and implement brand strategies to build brand awareness and consideration and drive business goals. Deliver strategic briefs and also design our internal process to generate great brand work
- Research : Research is the backbone of all design. You'll look into cultural trends and audience insights and imbue data-driven decision-making into the creative development process
- Manage : Team output rests on your shoulders. You'll be responsible for delegation of tasks, managing output and ensuring delivery. You will be expected to hire when needed, fire when warranted and counsel if there lies a scope for improvement

What you have :
- Experience : Experience in an agency or design studio with client-facing . Experience managing direct reports required.
- Body of Work : Portfolio featuring a wide range of creative work that displays mastery of your skills, ideas and execution. Expertise in the formal elements of visual design, including typography, colour, layout, balance, proportion, rhythm, emphasis, and unity.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Office. UI/UX experience is a bonus.
- Proven design-led conceptual and campaign experience; demonstrated success working on integrated campaigns that include digital, social, and/or emerging media.
- Experience working across multiple parallel work streams and within a flexible and agile environment.
- Ability to assess work, delegate tasks, hire resources and manage the team output effectively
