Job Description:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Supervise orchard workers during pruning, thinning, and harvesting activities
Assist with spraying, irrigation, and fertilization tasks
Monitor crop health and report pest or disease issues promptly
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and orchard SOPs
Maintain accurate work records and assist Site Manager with reporting
Train new staff on orchard techniques and equipment handling
Coordinate daily work schedules and allocate tasks efficiently
Support orchard operations during peak seasonal demands
Operate machinery when required and ensure proper maintenance checks
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job
NZQF level 4 qualification is required;OR
At least two years working experience in the same industry
Work well in a team as well as individually
Be well-organized and able to multitask
Have strong Health and Safety awareness
Be physically fit
