Job Title: Industrial Automation Software Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Software Engineer to design and develop software on PLC systems for industrial automation products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new external sensors, motors, actuators and logic to meet multiple customer applications' requirements in a single code base.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges, as well as excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement software on PLC systems for industrial automation products
• Implement new external sensors, motors, actuators and logic to meet multiple customer applications' requirements
• Integrate software with HMI, control systems and other automation equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in PLC programming with a strong understanding of automation and control systems
• Knowledge of Ladder logic and Function block diagram
• Experience in C++, Python or similar programming languages
Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated and capable of independently prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
