Job description

AirBoss Rubber Compounding, a leading manufacturer of rubber compounds, requires an experienced Millwright to maintain and repair equipment and machine systems in our facility.

Responsibilities include:

Responding to work orders assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and completing tasks in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Performing preventative maintenance inspections as per recurring work orders and collaborating with production teams to address any issues that arise.

Logging parts out of inventory and recording maintenance activities as necessary.

Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless operations and addressing any problems or changes made via the logbook.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid Industrial Millwright Certificate of Qualification and 3-5 years of previous experience in millwrighting. They should also be skilled in welding, pipefitting, and machine building, with a good working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, including troubleshooting.

Able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications, and experience operating general-purpose machine shop equipment, the successful candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively both verbally and writtenly.
