Job Overview
We are a globally recognized automated heavy machinery builder specializing in building and supporting metal processing equipment for 50 years. We are located 10 minutes from O'Hare Airport . We have an immediate need for metal processing equipment technicians with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic industrial machinery maintenance/repair and equipment assembly knowledge and experience. This is a full time plus extensive overtime pay opportunity with a well established machine manufacturer.
Duties
- Assemble equipment in-house from mechanical drawings
- Conduct equipment testing and maintenance/repairs in-house and at customer's plants.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in house and at customer's plants..
Skills
- Ability to read and understand mechanical, electric, and hydraulic drawings and schematics is mandatory.
- Ability to wire electrical control panels is mandatory.
-Experience with programmable logic controllers is a plus.
