Job Description
Cherubini Bridges and Structures is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Worker to maintain and repair equipment in our steel fabrication facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime for production operations.

Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain, and repair welding equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Overhead Travelling Cranes.
Perform preventative maintenance on CNC plasma cutters, press brakes, roll-forming machines, and other various equipment.
Maintain and repair hand tools and power tools.
Preform various simple millwright duties as required.
Maintain material handling equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and pallet jacks.
Proficiently troubleshoot to identify an issue, calling for outside repair services and expertise when required.
Service air compressors, dust collection systems, and general shop machinery.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Ensure all work is completed following company safety standards and procedures.
Collaborate with production staff and supervisors to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime.
Assemble mechanical equipment
Assemble stationary industrial machinery
Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
Repair or replace defective machinery parts
Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
Installing machinery and equipment
Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Requirements
Proven experience as an industrial or shop mechanic, preferably in a welding or fabrication environment.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with the repair and maintenance of overhead travelling cranes, welding equipment, CNC machines, and material handling systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to read and understand work orders, safety guidelines, and equipment manuals in English. Basic written communication required for maintenance logs and reporting.
