Description
• Must have good mechanical and electrical aptitude with industrial machinery and equipment, and be able to troubleshoot electrical panels and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, schematics, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Uses machine and equipment manuals and electrical ladder diagrams to troubleshoot and identify faulty circuits, wiring, and components in industrial machines and equipment.
• Proficient in testing electrical systems using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and insulation testers to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
• 3-phase, 480V, and industrial troubleshooting experience; assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, machines, motor control circuits, and fixtures.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; establishing personal networks.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
