Job Description
Carpenter Canada Co. has an immediate opening for an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) at our Calgary manufacturing plant.
Carpenter Co. is the world's largest producer of comfort cushioning products successfully operating in Calgary AB since 1977.
This position is responsible for equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, fabrication of structures and mechanical devices in all areas of the plant.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks:
Preventative maintenance,
Assembling machinery and equipment,
Installing machinery and equipment,
Adjusting machinery and equipment,
Repairing machinery and equipment,
Troubleshooting.
Skills and Requirements:
3 - 5 years millwright experience in manufacturing plant.
Must have Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification.
Must be available and willing to work on morning and evening shifts.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Forklift and aerial lift certificates is an asset.
First aid certificate is an asset.
Red Seal Millwright Certificate is an asset.

Pay: From $41.30 per hour
