Job Description
Join our dynamic team and work with cutting-edge manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We are looking for a skilled Industrial Millwright to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial machinery, ensuring peak performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair advanced manufacturing systems, including conveyors, overhead and transfer systems, robotic systems, and presses.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment following standardized procedures to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
Diagnose, replace, and/or repair machine components such as cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears, switches, and bearings.
Conduct welding, metal fabrication, hand finishing, grinding, and polishing as required.
Design, test, and implement improvements on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Work collaboratively in a flexible manufacturing environment, adapting to evolving challenges and production demands.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid Ontario or Inter-Provincial 426A/433A Millwright Certificate of Qualification).
Completion of a Millwright Apprenticeship.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Licensed Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Availability to work weekends and flexible shifts as needed.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in high-speed, high-volume industrial environments.
Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Familiarity with PLC programming (Ladder Logic) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) is a plus.
Proven ability to perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Experience with welding, machining, and metal fabrication.
Skilled in rigging and hoisting (preferred).
Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining efficiency and precision.
Strong team player with a commitment to continuous learning, improvement, and workplace safety.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
