About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll work both independently and within a team to deliver high-quality surface preparation and coating on heavy industrial and mining equipment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Surface preparation including cleaning, blasting, and removal of existing coatings
Application of industrial-grade paints and protective coatings
Working across a range of heavy machinery and components
Maintaining and cleaning tools and equipment
Following daily work instructions and strict safety procedures
Completing job documentation and reporting
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience as an Industrial Painter / Blaster in mining or heavy industry
Strong knowledge of industrial coatings, products, and application techniques
Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
Understanding of coating inspection, QC processes, and testing methods
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks in varying conditions
