Roles and Responsibility
Business
• Evaluate various new transaction and general risk issues on a portfolio by using both quantitative and qualitative skills. This will allow for early detection and remediation of broader level risk issues related to clients and assessing credit developments and trends at a country regional and global level
• Identify potential business opportunities with acceptable risk profile and support RM during entire transaction life cycle
• Provide focused, timely, and valueadded ongoing credit assessment and analysis and reports, with proactive monitoring of portfolio for adverse or positive developments, based on country, economic or industry events
Processes
• Effective engagement with client to get a good understanding of the Credit, product requirement & suitability, etc which would help in robust structuring of the facilities
• Preparation of BCAs and quality Credit submissions Should ensure in his portfolio a high quality and timely submission of BCA and other credit notes

• High quality of independent credit analysis
• Robust structuring of facilities which are appropriate to client and compliant with policies and regulations
• Quick turnaround on proposals & Transparent disclosures
• Effectively use the external information including the feedback from other banks, suppliers, buyers, peers, etc
• Renewal / monitoring of existing facilities.
• Should have a strong oversight on dissemination and understanding of policies, new regulations etc Should develop industry / product expertise
• Manage quality of portfolio and manage portfolio within risk appetite especially in light of Industries where there is higher risk scrutiny
Risk Management
• Work with GAM and FAM teams to improve the management of limits and exposures across geographies; conduct comparative analysis of risk vs. return using portfolio data and provide recommendations for optimizing portfolios and use of capital;
• Manage the credit change process globally across teams when credit policy changes are enacted, analyze gaps and propose solutions that optimize execution;
• Coordinate regional / global efforts to ensure compliance with BCA/GM renewal policies, CaRT and other credit administration processes;
• Ensure zero BCA/credit review over dues and work to minimize extensions;
• Coordinate and conduct Stress Tests and portfolio review exercises for periodic check on the health of the portfolio;
• Preparation of other analysis, such as Industry specific reviews, portfolio reviews, etc.
Governance
• Regulators: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory/central bank and bank's own policies
• Should play an active role in the implementation of policy/regulatory changes
• Should constantly review and update the processes in the light of changing regulatory requirements / policies
• Social Legitimacy: Ensure that all transactions are in line with the bank's sustainability agenda
