Your Role and Responsibilities
The applicant should have experience working in the Telecom Radio Access Network Domain(overall 20+ Telco experience), having played the role of a senior network consultant/architect involved in the planning, design, deployment and operations of a RAN. Theapplicant should have prior experience in:
• Pre-sales and Solution Design
• RF Planning and Optimization
• Design, deployment and Integration of vRAN/ORAN for multi-vendor NEP solutions including RRUs, vCU, vDU, etc.
• Identification, Troubleshooting & optimization of KPI-s
• E2E Service optimization for VoLTE and/or VoNR
• Traffic profiling and analysis
• Knowledge (and preferably participation) in 3GPP standards and ORAN
• Working with multi-vendor teams for RAN deployment and optimization in program management and architecture governance
• Skills to check and optimize KPIs related to Interoperability between ORAN and Traditional RAN systems
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Deep knowledge of one or more network domains including network core, RAN, O-RAN, edge, orchestration, and service assurance.
• Familiar with relevant industry standards such as 3GPP, ETSI and ORAN
• 5-10 years of experience working for a Network Equipment Provider (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Huawei), network services provider (e.g., Altran, WWT) or within the network department of a CSP
• 5-10 years of experience working with OSS domains such as fault management, performance management, inventory management, order management, trouble ticketing, provisioning, activation and workforce management
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Industry certifications such as TMForum certification in eTOM or ETSI certification in ETSI NFV architecture
• Background in network engineering
• Experienced in solutioning of network architectures
• 5-10 years of experience working in a NOC for a tier 1 communications service provider
• Telecommunications Industry experience is 100% mandatory. We require either:
• 5-10 years experience of working for a Network Equipment Provider (Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung Huawei) preferably in a business development role, or
• 5-10 years experience of working in the network department of a communications service provider, or
• 5-10 years experience of working for a network services provider (e.g., Altran, WWT)
• Relevant experience with a smaller or newer Network Equipment Provider such as Altiostar, Mavenir, Metaswitch
