The Role:

As an Industry Partnerships & Events Manager at RIVET, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry. Your daily functions will include growing RIVET's relationships with industry associations and alliances, planning and executing industry events, and leveraging your marketing team to support these initiatives.

In this role, you will oversee both existing and new partnerships, aiming to maximize their value and contribute to RIVET's goal of becoming the industry standard. Your efforts will directly influence partner-sourced revenue, enhance sales opportunities, and ensure the successful execution of industry events. As you settle into the role, you will continually evolve RIVET's partnership strategies and expand our industry presence, ensuring long-term growth and success.

You will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will work in a hybrid role based out of Detroit, MI, with an estimated travel of 25% of the time.

What You'll Do:

• Establish and grow relationships with stakeholders throughout partner organizations to increase buy-in and investment in the RIVET relationship.

• Plan, organize, and execute industry events with marketing counterparts to generate new leads.

• Regularly engage at industry association membership events to represent RIVET and highlight the value of our partnerships.

• Influence partner-sourced revenue through diverse partnerships to assist in achieving quarterly and yearly revenue targets.

• Track and manage partner-sourced sales opportunities with sales teams to increase win rates, grow opportunity size, and accelerate time to close.

• Design and negotiate custom contractual agreements positioning RIVET as a preferred partner aligned with business objectives.

• Collect and categorize industry-based knowledge and collaborate with enablement teams to deliver crucial industry insights.

• Own marketing events calendars and agendas

• Evangelize the partnership joint value proposition with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure awareness and collaboration.

• Research, invite, and schedule industry-relevant speakers and attendees.

What You'll Bring:

• 3-5 years of account management or extensive relationship-building experience at a SaaS company.

• Demonstrated previous experience managing turnkey execution of marketing events by developing and driving project plans from inception to completion.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• A self-starter work ethic with the ability to proactively move priorities forward with minimal supervision.

• Ability to quickly and thoroughly understand the construction technology ecosystem.

Even Better:

• Past experience in the construction industry would be a huge plus.

• Experience managing relationships within tech companies, industry association teams, or operations teams at contractors.

• Understanding of the industry networking makeup and skills in structuring partnerships.

• Experience in comparable industries, like automotive, with a demonstrated ability to navigate industry partnerships.
