Mt. Arrowsmith Childcare Ltd. is looking for a caring, energetic, and qualified Infant & Toddler Educator to join our team in Parksville, BC. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about nurturing the youngest learners in a supportive and enriching environment.
What We Offer:
Hourly Wage: $25/hour
Wage Enhancement: Additional $6/hour through the BC ECE Wage Enhancement Program
Benefits Package: Available after a 6-month probation period
Paid Time Off:
4% vacation pay
Additional 3 weeks paid vacation at seasonal closures
Paid sick days
Tentative Start Date: August 2026
Qualifications:
Valid Infant & Toddler (I/T) Educator certification license to practice in British Columbia required
Valid First Aid certification
Clear Criminal Record Check
Experience working with infants and toddlers is preferred
Patience, warmth, and a commitment to early childhood development
Responsibilities:
Provide responsive care to infants and toddlers in a safe and nurturing setting
Develop and implement age-appropriate programming
Maintain open communication with families and coworkers
Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
