Job Overview
Bula Babies Learning Center is seeking an experienced and reliable Lead Infant Teacher to join our growing team. This is a full-time opening-shift leadership role in our Infant Classroom and is ideal for a nurturing professional who has hands-on experience working as a Lead Infant Teacher in a licensed childcare setting.
This position plays a critical role in the daily success of our center, as the opening teacher is responsible for setting the tone of the day, welcoming families, and ensuring infants are cared for in a safe, structured, and loving environment.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
This is the opening shift, and the selected candidate will be responsible for opening the center each morning.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the daily operations of the infant classroom
Provide nurturing, responsive, and developmentally appropriate care for infants
Maintain compliance with Bright from the Start and center policies
Supervise and guide assistant teachers in the infant room
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
Communicate professionally with families
Accurately follow feeding, diapering, nap, and safety protocols
Ensure ratios and documentation are maintained
Required Qualifications
Must have previous Lead Infant Teacher experience
Must have experience working in a licensed childcare center
Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
Must be comfortable opening the center daily
Must meet Georgia DECAL requirements for infant lead teachers
Mandatory Paid Training & Event Dates
The selected candidate must be available for the following paid priority dates prior to opening:
Wednesday, February 18, 2026 : Pizza, Play & Enroll Open House 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Thursday, February 27, 2026: Staff Training Day(Exact time to be confirmed)
Center Opening Date
Monday, March 2, 2026
