Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with young children, understands child development, and can create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers, focusing on developmental milestones.
Provide a safe, nurturing, and responsive caregiving environment.
Maintain daily communication with parents regarding children’s progress and needs.
Supervise and guide assistant teachers to ensure a collaborative and positive classroom culture.
Monitor and document each child’s growth, development, and learning through observations and assessments.
Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety guidelines, and school policies.
Foster strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with infants/toddlers in an early childhood daycare setting.
CDA in Infant/Toddler, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Knowledge of child development, curriculum planning, and classroom management.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Passion for early childhood education and commitment to creating a nurturing environment.
