POSITION SUMMARY:
The Infection Control Practitioner (ICP) works with all IDN partners at all levels to control and
prevent infectious disease in our facilities and clinics, reduce the incidence of healthcare-associated infections, and reduce the risk of occupational infectious disease. In collaboration
with the local health department, the ICP works to control infectious disease in the community.
The ICP provides education and evidence-based information on the principles and practices of
