Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Informatics ILM Admin with strong Linux administration and shell scripting experience to join our team. As an Informatics ILM Admin, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux servers, ensuring their smooth operation and optimal performance. You will also play a crucial role in developing and maintaining automation scripts using shell scripting, and knowledge of Python and SQL would be considered advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and administer Linux servers, ensuring their availability security, and performance
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and related infrastructure
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability
• Implement security measures to protect the infrastructure and data
• Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and resolve technical issues
• Perform system backups and implement disaster recovery strategies
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in Linux administration
• Provide documentation, training, and support to end-users as needed
Prerequisites
• Qualifications : Graduate
• Years of Experience : 5-8 years
Tools and Technologies:
• Python programming language for scripting and automation
• Experience with SQL and database administration
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet or Ansible
• Understanding of cloud platforms and services, such as AWS or Azure
• Exposure to ITIL framework and practices
