We are looking for a highly motivated Information Management Officer to join our client, a local council in Western Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a close-knit team and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
Your Opportunity
In this contract role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of the organisation's information assets. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:
Implementing and maintaining records management procedures in accordance with best practice
Classifying, capturing, and storing information in line with organisational policies
Providing expert advice and guidance on records management practices to staff
Contributing to the development and implementation of information management initiatives
What You Will Bring
A Certificate IV in Recordkeeping or Information Technology (or equivalent experience)
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Records Management procedures, practices, and policy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
Experience working in a local government environment (desirable)
Proven experience with TRIM and CM systems is essential
