As a Business Information Security Officer (BISO), you will be responsible for aligning the information security strategy with the strategy and context of the assigned business line.
You will align the information security strategy and enterprise architecture with business priorities and IT delivery needs, proactively identifying and addressing potential obstacles to ensure the bank's business objectives are met. Deep understanding of technology and cybersecurity: Coordinate cross-functional teams (risk management, incidents, vulnerabilities, awareness) to lead and implement the cybersecurity strategy.
Presentation of risks and progress: Convincingly present and explain cybersecurity risks, progress, and performance to executives using advanced metrics and analyses.
Advise management in strategic decision-making considering security threats and risks.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills to simplify complex technical concepts for an executive audience and influence high-level decisions.
Partnerships with business units: Establish partnerships with business units to identify security risks and develop strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
Implementation of cybersecurity standards: Design and implement cybersecurity standards tailored to each business line, proposing innovative solutions that meet the company's needs while respecting security requirements.
Contribute to the development of the sectoral and cross-functional strategy of the company by providing strategic expertise, and collaborate with executives to influence decisions and ensure execution aligned with long-term objectives.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
Experience in the financial sector, particularly in wealth management, combined with a solid understanding of the regulatory requirements of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO)
Significant and relevant experience in information technology (5-10 years)
Experience in a senior role directly related to cybersecurity (5-10 years)
Sharp political sense and strong ability to build and maintain business relationships
