Classification grade: Clerk Grade 7/8
Salary: $106,025 - $117,363 p.a. pro rata (excluding employer’s contribution to superannuation and annualised leave loading)
Work type: Temporary 12 months, with a possibility of extension or conversion to ongoing. Part-time – 28 hours per week (Tuesday to Friday), with the view of expanding to 35 hours per week from January 2026.


About the role

As an Information Services Officer, you will be responsible for the research, development, and delivery of information services and tools to support staff in their work tasks and meet the evolving needs of the office. This role is one of three, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality service and innovation in information management.

This role can focus on the delivery of information management projects such as managing a large suite of internal and external precedents, various information repositories and portals, and a growing demand for managing Intranet content. You will also be active in the development of policies/procedures, and the maintenance of reference libraries with federated search and AI capabilities. Your ability to work collaboratively will be crucial in delivering high-quality information management services.

About you

We are seeking a candidate who is self-motivated, learns new processes and systems quickly, works collaboratively, is solution-focused, and can deliver with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You should be able to speak confidently at meetings, deliver training, and have highly developed writing skills. The candidate should possess adaptive computer skills to use systems such as an EDRMS (e.g., Content Manager), web publishing software (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager), and MS Word to design styles and templates.
