What you will do
• Server build which include Physical, VM and AWS for Windows
• Knowledge in Various Backup/Recovery Methodologies and Strategies
• Familiarity with various tools and methods for administering the Unix Systems infrastructure
• System & supporting hardware and software technologies, architectural principles, design standards and options
• Knowledge of Microsoft & Redhat operating systems.
• Technical knowledge on virtual platforms.
• Technical knowledge on AWS/Azure
• Technical Knowledge on Server build, QA and Server decommission (Virtual & Physical)
• Strong technical knowledge of current network principals, protocols and standards.
• Familiar with applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated, directed with keen attention to detail.
• Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• 2 to 5 years of system administration experience on Microsoft & Redhat platforms.
• Experienced with hardware and peripheral installation, maintenance.
• Knowledge of IP networks and principals.
• On-call availability.
• Hands-on experience on Server/application deployment techniques, methodologies, and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
• 4+ years hand-on experience on Cloud platforms – AWS, Azure and VMWare
• Experience with multiple Microsoft & Redhat server environment.
• Experience on Server decommission and build (VM & Physical server)
• Performance Tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of systems Issues
• Knowledge in Various Backup/Recovery Methodologies and Strategies
• Technical knowledge of infrastructure services systems management and monitoring tools
• Technical knowledge of commonly used hardware and software products
• Experience in DevOps, Automation and Scripting technologies including: Ansible, Python, Power Shell, GIT, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience in large project implementation using: AWS EC2, ELB, S3, IAM, ECS etc. (or) Azure Compute, Cloud services, Azure Active Directory, Traffic Manager, Express Route
• In-depth technical skills in infrastructure design & server infrastructure implementation.
• Familiarity with datacenter concepts and best practices, high-availability systems, capacity planning, system performance evaluation, and diagnostic techniques and methodologies.
• BE/ MCA – No correspondence course
