Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Brief Objective of the Audit

To assess the effectiveness, design, and operational implementation of the IT Incident and Problem Management processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices (e.g., ITIL), internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

2. Brief Scope of the Audit

The audit will cover the end-to-end lifecycle of incident and problem management, including and limited to the following:

• Incident detection, logging, categorization, and prioritization

• Response and resolution procedures

• Problem identification, root cause analysis, and resolution

• Integration with the change management process

• SLAs, escalation procedures, and reporting

• Tool capabilities and data integrity

• Review of major incident and problem records for effectiveness

3. Expectation from External Consultant

The external consultant is expected to:

• Provide subject matter expertise in ITIL aligned incident and problem management

• Support in control design and operational effectiveness testing

• Validate compliance with internal policies and frameworks

• Review relevant documentation and system configurations

• Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities

• Deliver findings and recommendations in a structured audit format

4. Skillset of the SMEs required

• Deep knowledge of ITIL framework, particularly Incident & Problem Management

• Experience in conducting IT process audits or internal control reviews

• Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA Service Desk)

• Strong analytical and documentation review skills

• Understanding of KPI/SLA monitoring and reporting

• Experience in identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses

• Excellent communication skills for dealing with technical and non-technical stakeholders

5. Period of engagement of the consultant (for the resource)

• Six days a weeks Tentatively from 3 Aug to 11 Sep. (Please note: from 3rd Aug till 11 Sep Candidate will be at Riyadh location)

6. No of resources required from the consultant

• We require 2 manager level.
