Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled technology professional to join our team at the Jaipur Marriott Hotel. As a member of the property management staff, you will contribute advanced knowledge and skills in technology and general hospitality business knowledge to support the property's Information Resources objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all technology planning, decision-making, implementation, and maintenance, working closely with vendors, owners, Executive Committee, and property staff.
Candidate Profile:
• Education: BS/BA or equivalent work experience
• Experience: 2-4 years in a similar position, preferably in IR Global Field Services or Marriott Systems Support
• System-related professional certifications desired
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate client technology needs and implement solutions that meet brand-specific standards
• Monitor and maintain computer and network operations, backup recovery functions, and administration tasks
• Manage IR activities to ensure property infrastructure and applications systems are functional at all times
• Administer and maintain mail and email, inventories, and IT hardware/software
• Provide Internet support and cable management services
• Generate system communications and user tips
• Consult on specific application issues and provide feedback to Lodging IR on system performance
Additional Responsibilities:
• Communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, written form, email, or in person
• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
• Coordinate property efforts, prioritize needs, and communicate those needs to IR Shared Services and other systems staff
• Manage vendors for property IT requirements and function as an escalation point for problem resolution
