What we're looking for
Our company is in the process for developing a vertical on AI in waste management practices in the country including integration of GPS, RFIDs, QR Codes, Payments, etc. We are looking for an IT Manager who can join us on this journey, using his or her technological skills to make us more efficient.
In this role, you would also be required to analyze our current systems and assets, recommend and design and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.
Responsibilities
• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
• Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
• Writing clean, readable, and testable code
• Design mobile applications & softwares for the company and ensuring the best performance and user experience of the application
• Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
• Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
• Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed.
• Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain data backups
• Managing IT staff and build a team by recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelors in Computer Science, or graduation in related field
• Extensive knowledge about Python & Java
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
• Broad experience in designing, programming, and implementing large information systems.
• Experienced with profiling and debugging mobile applications
• Extensive knowledge about mobile app development. This includes the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing in the store(s)
• Ready to relocate and Travel according to project requirements.
• Understanding mobile app design guidelines on each platform and being aware of their differences.
