Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize our organization's network infrastructure. This role is critical for ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performance connectivity across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments, supporting business operations and growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and load balancers.
• Configure and manage core network services: routing (OSPF, BGP basics), switching (VLANs, STP), VPN (site-to-site, remote access), QoS, and security policies.
• Implement and support firewall rules, ACLs, IPS/IDS, and network segmentation for security compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues (performance, connectivity, latency, packet loss) using tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar.
• Monitor network health, capacity, and performance; perform proactive tuning and capacity planning.
• Participate in network projects: expansions, upgrades, migrations (e.g., from legacy to modern solutions), and new site rollouts.
• Ensure network security, patch management, firmware updates, and vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with security, systems, and application teams to align network with business requirements and infrastructure needs (high availability, redundancy, low latency).
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• 4–7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering / administration.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, SNMP) and OSI/TCP models.
• Strong experience with Cisco/Juniper/Aruba/Palo Alto equipment (or equivalent vendors).
• Proven expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Understanding of modern IT infrastructure requirements: redundancy, scalability, zero-trust principles, cloud connectivity, and security integration.
• Relevant certifications: CCNA/CCNP (preferred

• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
