Title: IT Project Manager V

Location: Rosemead CA 91770 (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

We are seeking a dynamic IT Project Manager V to oversee and execute large-scale IT programs, including critical utility infrastructure projects like Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI). This role offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, coordinate vendor engagement, and shape the future of smart grid technology in a fast-paced, impactful environment.

What You Will Need:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, computer science, or related fields, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years managing large IT programs, with extensive knowledge of solution blueprinting, resource planning, and end-to-end delivery
• Proven experience in utility or regulated industry projects, especially with AMI, smart grid, or electric utility technology
• Strong understanding of meter-to-cash processes
• Cloud migration/implementation expertise
• Familiarity with system integrations such as MDMS, OMS, SAP, and ADMS
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Ability to navigate and align both technical and business perspectives

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with large data conversions involving millions of records
• Proficiency with MS Project and Octane
• Background in corporate strategy, consulting, or strategic planning
• Knowledge of utility technology investment strategies

Preferred Education & Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in technology-focused programs, preferably within utilities or regulated industries
• Hands-on experience with AMI solutions, cloud migrations, and infrastructure projects

Additional Requirements:
• Must be willing to work M-F, 8AM - 5PM PST, with some onsite presence for key project activities in LA, Riverside, Orange, or San Bernardino Counties.
• Strong organizational skills to handle complex project phases, from planning to deployment

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $100.00 to $110.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
