Job Description
- An IT specialist should manage the internal IT system of the company including whole computer network - hardware & software, company's data and internal network servers.
- An IT specialist is responsible for developing the company's IT infrastructure, implementing systems to handle day-to-day activities, troubleshooting errors so that a smooth and efficient transition of processes is maintained.
What will an IT Specialist do?
- Evaluating company's IT infrastructure and finding gaps that can create problems.
- Implementing server room with storing of organization data on the servers.
- Implementing firewall on all systems of the organizations (desktops & laptops).
- Addressing those gaps to the management while providing proper analyzed solutions.
- Implementing systems to handle day-to-day issues and ensuring all systems run smoothly and efficiently.
- Adjusting to the current softwares company is using and be prepared to implement new ones if necessary.
- Monitoring security measures and ensuring privacy is preserved.
- Monitoring and configuring security cameras in the server room.
- Installing and configuring projectors, screens, speakers whenever needed.
- Installing and updating anti-virus softwares to maintain network security.
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting the hardware and software components.
- Keep the IT systems updated and maintain cost effective measures approved by management.

Minimum Education Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, which could be Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or System Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of in-office experience in the equivalent field.
- Work experience in a Manufacturing Industry would an asset.
- Thorough knowledge of desktop operating systems, internal networking servers & cloud computing.
- Hands-on experience of installation, troubleshooting & configuring of hardware & software is a must.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office - Excel is a must.
