Job Description:
When compiling an IT Support job description, here is a selection of duties to include:
Ø Windows Desktop and Linux Ubuntu Operating System Installation and Configuration, Basic Hardware Knowledge, Software Installation, Printer’s & Scanner installation, Configuration and sharing on Network.
Ø Monitoring, Maintaining Computer Systems and troubleshooting Software, Networking basic issues.
Ø Should have experience of Installation of Antivirus and Updating.
Ø Keen for Inventory Maintenance of Hardware System.
Ø Dealing with vendor for getting the work done.
Ø Should be able to handle Dialer (CRM) & Softphone (Zoiper)
Ø Responding in a timely manner to serve issues and requests.
Ø Providing technical support for all the branches of organization if required (Physically & Telephonically)
Ø Regular data backup of Users Desktop/Laptop.
Ø Should have knowledge of MS Outlook installation configuration.
Ø Testing new technology.
Ø Possibly training more junior staff members.
Ø If possible knowledge of user finger/face registration on biometric machine.

Ø A technical, logical thought process.
Ø Problem-solving skills.
Ø An ability to stick to strict deadlines.
Ø An ability to prioritize and delegate.
Ø If having own conveyance for travelling to different branches would be preferred.
