CFO Infrastructure:

Within the Finance department, the CFO Infrastructure function is responsible for ensuring the Bank delivers on its infrastructure cost targets in a well-controlled and sustainable manner. We are also working with our infrastructure and business stakeholders to create a culture of 'client-centric infrastructure'.
The function is formed up of 3 teams, Infrastructure CFOs, Cost Intelligence & Analytics (CIA) unit and Driver Based Cost Management (DBCM) Team.
The Infrastructure CFOs are the front-line of this approach. Leveraging our teams of data scientists in the Cost Intelligence & Analytics (CIA) unit and our proprietary, industry-leading Driver Based Cost Management (DBCM) framework, our Infrastructure CFOs partner with the senior infrastructure stakeholders to deliver on our objectives.
The CIA is our highly skilled team of data scientists, finance and functional experts who enable our Infrastructure CFOs with the information needed to achieve our objectives.
We have industry-leading Driver Based Cost Management (DBCM) framework. DBCM was developed by our team of business and technology experts to bring transparency to our Infrastructure cost base. This transparency allows our data experts to partner with senior business and infrastructure stakeholders to copilot delivery of our objectives.
Role Description:
We are looking to hire a site lead for our CFO Infrastructure function in India. Reporting to the Head of
Infrastructure CFO, the successful applicant will have direct management responsibilities for the 50+ member CIA team as well as matrix management responsibilities for the 70+ team members in the India-based Infrastructure CFOs and DBCM groups.
Your key responsibilities:
As the site lead for CFO Infrastructure, your key responsibilities will include:
. Act as the leader, spokesperson, and salesperson for the CFO Infrastructure, within the broader Finance organization, the Deutsche Bank Group as well as externally
. Represent the CFO Infrastructure function in various local forums and initiatives
. Drive our talent management agenda in the CFO Infrastructure function including talent acquisition, retention, training, performance management and diversity as well as providing career mobility opportunities through effective succession planning
As the head of the CIA, your key responsibilities will include:
. Provide high quality analytical information to support business decisions especially relating to financial planning & analysis of key financial metrics (P&L, Balance Sheet and headcount) for the Bank's global Infrastructure functions, including:
. Preparing monthly analysis of direct expenditure, explaining variances and reporting trends
. Delivering on all global and regional reporting requirements
. Actively supporting Monthly / Quarterly Forecasting and Annual Budgeting process
. Partner with stakeholders to define and deliver restatement and restructuring requirements
. Continuously review existing processes and books of work to provide areas of improvement
. Build and maintain strong working relationships with the onshore Infrastructure CFOs and DBCM leadership teams to ensure a seamless operating model in line with the Global strategy
. Ensure appropriate controls across all financial processes relating to the organisation
