You Are:
A Solutions Architect experienced in engaging with prospective clients in Infrastructure Management.
The Work:
Your primary role will be to act as a value architect for various opportunities, ranging from small to large-scale engagements involving Application Managed Services and Enterprise IT Professional services. You will leverage your extensive technology, solutioning, and delivery experience to create solutions individually and collaboratively with clients, focusing on advising and co-creating these solutions. Being a subject matter expert is essential, alongside your ability to engage with multiple teams and make significant contributions to key decisions.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation scope of enterprise IT infrastructure including data center migrations, hardware refreshes, and data center colocation during the pre-sales cycle.
• Present your solutions to Operating Group leadership, sales teams, senior client buyers, and functional owners.
• Drive necessary sign-offs from Technology Delivery on solutions, incorporating inputs from Operating Groups related to client business goals, industry, risk assessments, and budget preferences.
• Collaborate with Operating Group sales teams and Subject Matter Experts as needed during the sales process; communicate and coordinate with delivery organizations.
• Promote the integration of standards in solutions by working with Legal and Commercial teams and guiding Corporate Development Transaction Services.
• Work alongside Operating Groups to provide input on Terms and Conditions, and sometimes be responsible for specific contractual terms and conditions.
• Partner with Technology leadership to determine Points of Contact for delivery and, when appropriate, lead stabilization efforts on client projects.
This role may require travel based on business needs and client requirements, which can vary from 0 to 100%.
Here is What You Need:
• 8+ years of experience in a Technology Environment with a strong focus on Datacenter infrastructure and Colocation.
• 5+ years of experience in Solution Planning and Deal Shaping.
• 3+ years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure including Server Farms, Networking Devices, and Data Protection & DR strategies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years); for an associate's degree, a minimum of 6 years of work experience is required.
