Infrastructure Management Professional

Weta Digital's infrastructure team oversees extensive infrastructure, ensuring seamless collaboration among crew members and efficient delivery of world-leading visual effects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in DevOps environments, robust scripting skills, and knowledge of configuration management, automation, and cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain large-scale, primarily cross-platform infrastructure.

Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation of critical systems.

Develop and implement scripts for automation and configuration management.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT infrastructure.

Assist in training and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

Strong understanding of Puppet or similar configuration management tools.

Proficiency in Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code technologies.

Hands-on experience with Ubuntu or Debian-based operating systems.

Experience with AWS deployment and operations.

Knowledge of Kubernetes and other container environments.

Ability to communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders.
