Sukoon Health is building India's first specialized chain of hospitals to cater to acute and severe mental health conditions.
We plan to set up 1000 beds across 40 units for adult, acute inpatient care across India. Additionally, we have aspirations to expand into specialized segments of de-addiction, child development disabilities, dementia care, etc.
About the Role
Sukoon is seeking an Infrastructure Planner who will design the acute centers of Sukoon, plan and manage the construction of upcoming sites, oversees the construction timeline and do quality control. Infrastructure Planner will be required to monitor progress, and will be developing the Budget for the upcoming sites including cost estimates for labour, material and other expense.
Areas of Focus
Design Acute Centre Layouts and Detailed Architectural Plans:
• Develop comprehensive and innovative architectural plans for acute care centers, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and patient-centered design.
• Utilize advanced design software to create detailed blueprints and layouts.
Plan and Manage Infrastructure Development:
• Oversee the planning and execution of infrastructure development projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Ensure Compliance with Healthcare Building Standards and Local Building Codes:
• Stay updated on the latest healthcare building standards and local building codes.
• Ensure all infrastructure projects meet regulatory requirements and industry standards, focusing on safety, accessibility, and sustainability.
Oversee Construction Timelines and Ensure Quality Control:
• Monitor construction progress and manage timelines to ensure timely project completion. Implement stringent quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and materials.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues promptly.
Develop and Manage Project Budgets:
• Create detailed project budgets, including cost estimates for materials, labour, and other expenses.
• Monitor expenditures throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.
• Provide regular budget reports and address any financial discrepancies.
Asset selection:
• Identify suitable sites for as part of Sukoon expansion plan.
• Oversee the acquisition process from start to finish, ensuring smooth transactions.
• Maintain and nurture professional relationships with property owners, real estate agents, and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in infrastructure planning, architectural design, or construction management, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Knowledge of healthcare building standards, codes, and regulations.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects and overseeing construction processes.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Catia) and project management tools.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
