Job Description
• As an integral part of the team, the Business Development Manager - Inside Sales will be instrumental in creating new opportunities
• The Business Development Manager - Inside Sales will lead efforts to sell a VMS solution to enterprise clients
• Responsibilities also include generating leads, following up on prospect opportunities and working with the Flentis leadership to have more conversations with potential clients
• Responsibilities include being part of the proposal response team, leading customer presentations and all follow up until an expanded service opportunity is agreed upon
• Obtain leads/prospects through networking with Human Resources, Procurement, Talent Acquisition and additional key stakeholders of potential clients
• Build and maintain excellent working rapport with current and prospective users of Flentis services by (a) providing highly responsive service; (b) being fully knowledgeable of the services being provided or those that will be provided; and, (c) wherever possible and appropriate, business entertainment (lunches, sporting events, etc.)
• Document all sales activities in CRM and submit required reports to management
• Participate in the development of the annual business and goal planning process
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Frequently sits, walks, and stands
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an office environment
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of general staffing industry experience with a focus on business expansion
• 3-5 years of staffing industry experience in a consultative sales role selling directly to customers, that included at least one of the following services: Staffing Solutions, Managed Service Provider (MSP), a standalone or combined (with a MSP solution) Vendor Management Systems (VMS), large national Master Vendor solutions and/or Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO)
• Ability to effectively communicate, which includes listening and understanding, as well as conveying ideas and opinions in writing
• Able to handle conflict well
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusion.
• Ability to provide guidance to contract employees and customers regarding employment, staffing, project management decisions
• Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office
