Job Description: Inside Sales Representative – Insurance Segment
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Generation & Prospecting:
• Identify and engage potential insurance clients based in North American market, including carriers, MGAs, and reinsurers, using strategic outreach through emails, calls, and LinkedIn.
• Research and understand client profiles, including pain points related to underwriting, policy administration systems, claims processing, actuarial functions, and regulatory compliance.
• Qualify prospects based on their business needs and align them with Visionet’s solutions.
• Initial Client Engagement:
• Take first-level calls with prospects to introduce Visionet, its capabilities, and the value we bring to North American insurers.
• Establish trust and credibility by demonstrating a strong understanding of insurance-specific challenges and industry trends.
• Schedule and coordinate follow-up meetings or demos with senior sales executives and subject matter experts.
• Relationship Building & Industry Expertise:
• Build rapport with insurance professionals by showcasing knowledge of key industry terms and challenges.
• Articulate Visionet’s value proposition in areas like digital transformation, cloud migration, data analytics, and regulatory compliance for insurers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to enhance prospecting efforts.
• CRM & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all leads, activities, and opportunities in the CRM system.
• Regularly track and report on lead generation metrics and pipeline health to sales leadership.
• Collaboration with Teams:
• Work closely with marketing to optimize outreach campaigns and create industry-relevant content.
• Assist senior sales executives in preparing tailored proposals, presentations, and follow-up materials.
Qualifications
• Experience:
• 2–5 years of B2B lead generation experience using emails, calls, and LinkedIn, preferably in the insurance or technology services sector.
• Demonstrated ability to take initial discovery calls, qualify leads, and coordinate the next steps with the sales team.
• Insurance Industry Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of insurance-specific functions, including underwriting, policy administration, claims management, actuarial processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with insurance technology solutions such as policy administration systems, claims management platforms, and compliance tools.
• Skills & Tools:
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts into business value for insurers.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation tools.
• Strong research and analytical skills to identify prospects and assess market opportunities.
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
