Job Summary:
We are seeking an Inside Sales Engineer with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our sales process, working closely with our sales representatives and distributors to drive sales, manage customer relationships, and provide technical expertise. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to sales representatives and distributors on product features, applications, and benefits.
Customer Engagement: Respond to customer inquiries, understand their technical needs, and help recommend suitable product solutions.
Sales Support: Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and technical documentation, working collaboratively with external sales teams.
Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers and distributors, acting as a primary point of contact for product-related inquiries.
Order Processing: Handle order processing and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Market Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback and market trends to contribute to product development and sales strategies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in a technical sales or support role, ideally within the mechanical/electrical industry.
Strong understanding of engineering products or similar product lines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Ability to work well within a team, collaborating with sales representatives and distributors.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
