Inside Sales Team Lead
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
• Align sales plans with overall business objectives in collaboration with senior management
• Conduct market research to identify potential customer segments and growth opportunities
• Define sales processes, methodologies, and KPIs to maximize efficiency
Team Leadership & Management
• Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing inside sales team
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and continuous feedback to improve performance
• Set clear sales targets, track progress, and ensure accountability
• Foster a collaborative and motivated team culture
Sales Operations & Execution
• Oversee daily operations of the inside sales team to ensure smooth execution
• Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams for seamless customer experience
• Monitor pipelines, track performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement
• Implement CRM tools, sales enablement systems, and technology for efficiency
Customer Relationship Management
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored sales solutions
• Deliver sales presentations, product demos, and negotiate effectively to close deals
• Work with marketing to design targeted campaigns and lead generation strategies
Sales Performance Analysis & Reporting
• Track sales data, analyze performance, and identify trends/opportunities
• Prepare detailed reports, forecasts, and insights for senior management
• Continuously optimize sales strategies based on data-driven insights
• Stay updated on market conditions, competitor activities, and industry trends
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Proven experience in inside sales or sales leadership roles
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
• Strategic mindset with problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Hands-on experience with CRM systems, sales tools, and analytics platforms
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
• Customer-centric, result-oriented, and highly organized
