Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Specialist. This is a supervisory position with direct oversight over the FX Investigations process. Acting as a lead for all escalations, operations, business and regulatory initiatives; this position will partner with global business, application support team, operations, compliance, and legal counterparts to ensure effective transparency and Collaboration..
In this role, you will:
• Take complete responsibility of monitoring daily functions of Fxi Process. Organizes the work of the team, assigns task, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities and ensure timely and accurate completion of the work
• Verification of Swifts/Payments on timely manner, adhering to all CCY cut off's and manage escalations/customer complains
• Escalate in a timely manner within the Operations group, Technology application support and Middle Office to ensure prompt resolution of exceptions/disputes
• Candidate should have desirable knowledge about SWIFT standards and their message fields in MT202, MT103, MT 202+103, MT202+202. and FX products
• Competent in TAT Management, Process Improvements, Regulatory Compliance, Audits- Process/Transactional Level including adherence to SLAs
• Candidate willing to work in night shift and work over weekends & US off's
• Ensuring by EOD all the queues are cleared.
• Understands needs and sensitivities of internal and external clients and proactively ensuring these are met
• Builds relationship with businesses and counterparties to ensure effective escalation and timely resolutions
• Partner with Technology to identify/ resolve system issues, and implements system enhancements to increase efficiency
• Swiftly Identifies potential risks in operational processes; develops and implements controls to mitigate related risk
• Sound & Strong Knowledge of FX Investigations process and trade life cycle
• This profile is highly interact with external clients like corporate, banks, traders, middle office.so candidate should have excellent process and product knowledge
• Should be Instrumental in decision making.
• Ability to lead/coach and train team members, mentor team
• Excellent analytical skill and Language proficiency
• Strong ability to communicate in written/verbal form
• Ability to work to strict deadlines/under pressure and maintain calm manner
• Ability to work as back up to manager in his/her absence and handle team enquires
• Excellent email and time management skills.
• Competent in TAT Management, Process Improvements, Regulatory Compliance, Audits- Process/Transactional Level including adherence to SLAs
• Periodically reviews the procedure documents ad check list
Required Qualifications, International:
• MBA/ Bachelor's degree in Finance preferable
• 6-+ years of experience in the FX operations and investigations/settlements background preferably
• Ability to demonstrate effective analytical skills /decision making skill
• Energetic individual that works well under pressure in a team environment with demanding deadlines
• Ability to identify areas of improvement and also formulate plans to effect positive change within a team environment
• Able to analyze and interpret data from both statistical and efficiency standpoint
