Beej is a premium and sustainable fashion accessories and lifestyle brand that works with plant-based alternatives to leather. Pioneers in their category the brand has over the last three years built a strong presence both in the retail and through prominent institutional partnerships.
Over the last 3 years, we've seen the sustainable gifting space grow signficantly and believe this has huge untapped potential. As prominent players in a growing niche, we are now looking to build out our Corporate business and are looking for a mid-level sales professional to join the team. The person will work closely with the founding team to build this vertical both within India and Internationally.
Role Description : Institutional Sales and Partnerships
The role would include (but not be limited to )
• Strategise and identify Institutional partnership opportunities with brands, corporates, events etc.
• Identify and develop corporate and bulk business opportunities both within India and Internationally.
• Manage the end to end sales process for corporates, including outreach, negotiations, and order execution.
• Work closely with the design and operations to develop products based on specific client briefs and ensure delivery standards and timelines are met.
• Manage and be accountable for the P&L and revenue targets for the Institutional business vertical
• · Ideate, Identify and execute brand collaborations both online and offline. This would include marketing and PR events as well.
• · Design innovative ways in which we can collaborate with brands
Desired Skills :
· Great command over the language
· Sales skills – The ability to understand what the client is looking for and tailor offerings accordingly.
· A strong research orientation and the ability to map the market and identify opportunities
· Ability to generate options given limited resources
· Comfortable with data and analytics

· Closure orientation – the ability to follow through with a lead and take it to a successful closure.
· Self starter – ability to work with minimal supervision and take the lead
· Comfort with working with a start-up, where roles and fuzzy and everybody does a bit of everything
· Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty
· Willingness to travel as and when required
· Passionate about building a large P&L bottoms up
· A mind-set of not giving up till we get it right

Location : Mumbai
This is a full-time role and its important if you are applying for the role you understand that we are a start-up which is very exciting but also very challenging. At the moment we can only consider candidates who are Mumbai based as we cannot offer remote working facilities as yet.
