Our 2-Hour Learning approach combines AI-adaptive technology with skilled instruction to accelerate reading progress. Your role: create and conduct brief, focused reading workshops that produce measurable improvements in phonics, fluency, and comprehension for early elementary learners, then help us expand that framework to campuses nationwide.

What You Will Be Doing
• Conducting brief, focused reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency competencies
• Creating customized motivational sessions through gamified literacy benchmarks
• Evaluating student performance data to refine teaching methods and extract actionable insights
• Partnering with engineers to assess and improve AI literacy platforms using classroom outcomes
• Building scalable, AI-integrated content that supports early elementary learners in reaching grade-level proficiency
What You Won’t Be Doing
• Delivering 90-minute lessons or adhering to traditional curricula—students engage with academic subjects via AI-adaptive applications
Basic Requirements
Instructional Coach key responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree
• Advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent) OR Master's degree in reading instruction
• At least 2 years of experience providing small-group reading interventions to K–2 students
• Skilled at evaluating reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction without reliance on pre-written curricula
• Proficient with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsive to student behaviors within them
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses: Phoenix, AZ; Tampa, FL; Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston, TX; Plano, TX; or Dorado, Puerto Rico

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
